Through out Sun Dog there different works of art from different artists. We like to change them up every so often and this month we are featuring Laure Norton’s Glassic Mosaics on the ‘diner side’ and Dustin Hegedus photographs on the ‘dance side’. Laure Norton  was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where she still resides. A self taught artist specializing in custom designs and installations, she combines mosaic and stained glass techniques to create works of art inspired by nature. Laure converts vintage windows into beautiful and unique stained glass mosaics. No two pieces are alike, each is an original. She enjoys creating nature and beach scenes. What began as a hobby has become a lifestyle.

‘Photography for me is a constant journey, a sort of transcendence, finding myself in the most peaceful of moments to times where my own wellbeing could be in jeopardy. No matter my surroundings when there’s a camera in hand the desire to capture the perfect image is what drives me and has become a passion that surely wont fade. The voyage of photography has allowed me to see things differently, appreciating the inner beauty and deeper meaning of the simplest of objects in the moment of pure existence.
