Sun Dog is like a second home to so many and a new found friendship to others. Our guests and our staff often feel more like family than a business relationship.  We get so many great reviews and letters that we wanted to share some of them with you!

A Big Thank You- From Paul Carter 8/26/2009

     Dear Curtis and Kim, Now that I'm back in England, I thought I'd take a moment and write a quick email to thank you both and all your extended family at the Sundog. In the past two and a half years you have continued to help make my stays at the beach very enjoyable ones and from the first time I arrived in Jacksonville back in April 2007 with my squadron, to this last Monday when I said my goodbye's, I have always been made to feel extremely welcome. Believe me when I say this has no small part because of the way I'm made to feel when ever I'm in the bar/restaurant...Please give a big chuck up to all the guys, especially Keith who always makes you feel like you are among friends. I am hoping to be back out in October to sample more of your hospitality as well as a few Jaeger bombs!!

Our Special Event Night-From Linda Miller 9/22/2009

 

 Dear Kim,  Thanks so much for your follow-up!  Saturday night was wonderful.  Your staff took excellent care of us.  Mom was very surprised and overwhelmed with it all, and thoroughly enjoyed her weekend… Tommy acknowledged Mom's presence, honored my brother, Chip...who many people remembered, and Mom stood up and flashed the audience  her COWBOY t-shirt from the '70's and got a standing ovation!!!  It was precious.

 We were amazed at the quality of the food at Sun Dog.  The menu was beautiful online, and because of the restaurant having the outward appearance of a '60's diner were not sure what to expect.  The quality was off the charts!  Everyone really enjoyed their dinners!  Proving once again...you can't judge a book by its cover.  I have travelled the world and the food at your restaurant was as good or better than many, many places that 'appear' to be fine dining establishments!!  Thank you! Thank you to you personally, your chef's and your servers for all you did!  It was a weekend that touched many, many hearts and each of you contributed to that in some way.  Many blessings and love to you all, Linda
